The many aspects of fire protection and life safety engineering have been integral to the specialised activities of AEC. This complex and interesting field combines the disciplines of alarm detection and digital communications with electrical, hydraulic and mechanical engineering capabilities of the Firm. These are co-ordinated through sound knowledge and continuing study of building and technical codes and co-operation with statutory and fire fighting.

as a director of the Firm joined the Australian Fire Protection Association
in 1992 and has been well known and active in the fire protection area for
many years. Our employees are encouraged to maintain active involvement
in their areas of professional specialisation and are a recognised team
