Engineering Positions

AEC seeks to maintain and improve its professional technical capacity by the injection of new skills and experience. To this end, we occassionally have employment openings for engineers and design staff in various fields.

Opportunities available at present or in the near future are:

Mechanical Engineer (Canberra)

Knowledge and experience in commercial and industrial services are required, and a particular interest in control systems and energy management would be highly regarded.

Electrical Engineer (Canberra and Interstate)

Based in our Canberra office, this position may involve projects both locally and in Queensland. Building services, light, power and communications systems projects will be the main focus.

Hydraulic Services Design (Canberra)

This position may be suitable for a designer with a mechanical or civil engineering background. It requires a knowledge of plumbing, sanitary drainage and water supply systems. A knowledge of relevant codes and standards, and the ability to deal with compliance and certification issues.

Enquiries

AEC values on-site and trade experience, and relevant on-site experience in the required fields would be highly regarded. Qualified technical professionals with an original trade background and project supervision experience may also be suitable for some roles.
